How hard is it to break into investment banking from McCombs?

I am currently a junior in high school with a good GPA, rank, and SAT score in Houston. I think that I could get into McCombs or even BHP if I tried. I do not want to travel far away to an ivy school. I also don't know if I could get in. I was also thinking about going into medicine instead. However, I have little to no interest in it. How hard is it to break into investment banking from McCombs BHP? Should I try for ivy instead?

Hey, I'm a junior as well (HS), (north east), and looking into IB as well. Nice to know people our age are beginning to look into it as well, if you ever want to chat and share ideas PM me! It would be beneficial to see where you are and get others opinion/ adivce on what they are doing as well to prepare for the future.
