Some Big 4 firms have a Corporate finance division in addition to TS (Europe and Asia). How impressive would an internship at a Big4 Corporate Finance and Investing Banking division (not TS) look for a sophomore? Can this be compared to a boutique or MM internship?

I was always under the impression that big 4's don't allow sophmores to do internships.
It's in an Asian office.
Wouldn't exactly compare it to a boutique or MM internship, but a great experience to have as a sophomore. Much better experience and more relevant to IB than a PWM internship or a F500 Co. I'd take it. The name on your resume, being in their corp fin group, and being in Asia are all great resume builders (esp for a sophomore). Will help for SA recruiting next yr.
