Startup tech jobs

What would be best to do for a sophomore summer if I hope to work for a startup after graduation? I'm a CS major.
Continue working on a mobile app startup and launch mid summer or go for an internship at a F500 tech company?

I should clarify that this would be my own startup. How difficult is it to get into a good startup company out of a 10 undergrad CS program having only entrepreneurial experience my soph summer?

If you are writing the code, go with the mobile app, startups will want to see what you've built before. That and your tech skills will be more highly valued than a big name on your résumé where you didn't actually do a lot. If you can do both, that is obviously the best of both worlds.

How difficult overall is it to make it to a tech startup with this kind of experience? Is it likely that I'll make it to at least a series A startup having just coded a mobile app and selling it + having a 3.3 gpa from a top 10 program?
