Career Resources
Whomever your "insider" is - that person you initially met for a cup of coffee that liked you enough to introduce you to more people at the firm, eventually getting you the interview... just keep in touch with that person and be on friendly terms. Go out to coffee once every few months and catch up on things. Try to grow in your career and talk about what new things you've been learning, and opinions you've formed wherever you end up. If he/she moves, maybe that person will get you an opportunity to interview at the next place.
If you don't have an "insider"... then just give it time. They'll forget about you and in a few years you can probably interview there again like the first one never happened.
Didn’t network just got selected for a first round and got moved on to the super
Yeah, best to then forget about that company for a while. In the place where I've most recently worked, I actually had an interview there about 4 years earlier for a similar position and didn't get the job. When I interviewed the second time, the HR staff completely turned over and didn't remember me at all. Nobody at the company knows or remembers the time I interviewed there and got rejected initially. lol
Maybe in the meantime if that company is really appealing to you, try to meet some people who currently work there or are former employees. You might even run across such a person by random chance when you least expect it. Get to know them so that you might have a lead-in the next time you try.
I do have insiders (ED/MD level + analyst) but failed to recruit for full-time/lateral hire, anything I should do?
reject REJECTION. Show up to the office anyways, with your dick swinging out of your pants, ready to fuck. The police might escort you out, but at the end of the day, the jokes on them. Listen to the voices in your head, all eighteen of them.
Better than getting POUNDED in the ass on the job
