Still keep GPA up?

Second semester of junior year, 4.0 gpa from semi-target, signed internship with supermajor in trading group. I've pretty much lost motivation to do anything haha..would you guys still focus on trying to maintain a solid GPA at this point? I heard it becomes useless after getting your first job...and it feels like the reward/time consumed ratio is incredibly low. Only scenario I can think of GPA still coming into play is if I either don't like trading this summer/don't get offered full time and maybe want to lateral over to ibanking or some other industry.

Thoughts?
