Summer Analyst after Senior Year?

This will be my first post so forgive me if I sound naive, but I've done some reading on the forums here and I couldn't find a recent answer to this question or a person with a profile quite the same as mine. I'm currently a junior and will be doing debt valuation for REIT's as a SA this year. This is not something I see myself doing in the future long term and I'm not sure about RE in general either as a field. I'd like to switch into IB if this is at all possible. I guess the question I have is if I would be able to get a SA position after I graduate next year, especially at a MM/ boutique firm? I'm studying liberal arts/humanities with the equivalent of a finance minor at a top 5 target school/ ivy league. Is it too late to leave this position for the summer and network my way into a SA for 2021? Also do you think it would be possible to maybe look for FT IB roles after my experience this summer if there is some way I can spin my experience in valuations? I really wish I had been more serious about recruiting in the fall but at this point I'd just like to have a path forward that doesn't pigeonhole me into valuations or real estate more generally.
