My lateral superday in Mid March was postponed, because of senior personnel traveling. At this point, its indefinite until offices open back up. Question is how often should I reach out to HR to follow up on it without being annoying but still staying top of mind?

I would also add that you should write when you will be following up next so you can say something like "I will follow up in about a month if I don't hear anything by then." I have found that it helps to set the expectation/whats coming next /not giving them a reason to be annoyed.
