Teacher trying to assess his profile for MBA.

Hi all, I have browsed countless blogs looking for advice on my profile. The thing is, since I never gave MBA a serious thought until recently - my profile is currently in a total mayhem. There are domain shifts, role shifts, lack of relevant Experience, lack of ECs, etc etc. If anyone gets some thoughts on what to add/subtract/modify, please mention. And I'm looking for an honest advice, so don't pull your punches. I'll okay even if someone tells me this profile is not going to work at all, won't be the first one to. PFB. Kindly mention any bschool in the top 30 where I stand a chance, in your opinion.

I am a 26.5 y.o. male from India. I am a teacher looking to switch career directions to strategy consulting.

332 GRE, Yet to give TOEFL.

[Extra] -
Quota profile exclusively on IIT JEE related topics with 4 million views on answers. In the process of building a youtube channel and authoring a book in the pipeline.

[Workex] - Work Hours: Variable, but usually Morning 7 till evening 5. 6 Days a week. A total of 5 holidays in the entire year. Competitive Pay - I'll be earning less as a fresher post MBA.

[Starting]
- 1 y + teaching Analytical Chemistry to IIT Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) aspirant at an education startup at a meagre (More than 1 Mil Indian students appear for the exam every year and it has an acceptance rate of 0.8 %)

[Company Switch]
- Got a 233% pay raise. Joined the state’s major player - A school chain with integrated IIT JEE preparation. Famous for having 99% faculties as IIT graduates.
- 2y+ teaching experience of analytical chemistry and Parts of Physics to the topmost batches. Parts of Maths to relatively lower batches. (IIT JEE preparation segregates students on their rankings in periodic tests and Allots faculties to different batches based on their Subject Matter Expertise.

[Domain, Role Switch]
- Started assisting part-time in a startup my sister was doing with one of her cofounders, Joined later as full-time (11 months). Managed Product roadmaps of one B2C and One B2B software product and Head of Supply. (eRetail Space)
(This experience made me realise the value of a business degree. Prime factors for Failure: Venturing into a New Domain w/o significant understanding and experience, On-paper credibility(Degree), Negative image of the eRetail space after a bunch of failed investments in the field

[Health Issues]
- Got a cyst in the lower back. Post surgery - mandated not to put weight on the back for 2-3 months. Couldn’t sit or sleep on my back.
- Cyst still in healing mode, advised not to go for a sitting job. Startup experience became less relevant as time went by. Joined the previous organisation.

[Currently]
- Teach Math and Analytical Chemistry to top batches.
- Part of a team handling school integrations and another project developing an assessment and evaluation tool.

[College - 2009 - 2014]
I did my graduation in Mechanical Engineering from NIT (Next to IITs) 0.7% in 1 Mil Indian who gave the qualifying exam that year,
Have backsf in 7-8 subjects and a 6.33/10 GPA (Absolute Grading).

[Second Year]
- I was part of an 11-month project BAJA SAE
(It's a national level automotive project with a global presence, wherein each team is tested on it's ability to create the most rugged Off-Road vehicle with a common engine being provided to all the teams)

[Third Year]
- In the next instalment of BAJA SAE, I led a team of 25 that gave up after class hours and spent them in the mechanical workshop and missing their social life that too without any pay
- Anchored in the main event in the Annual Cultural Fest of College
- Taught at N-Vil (NIT for Villagers)

[Final Year]
- Bagged the third highest placement of the batch
- Did a project on Handlooms in collaboration with IIT D
- SAE Institute chapter Chairperson
- Led a project Consisting of 8 members to build technical specs for the apparatus in the new vibrations lab

[Extra Year]
- I was held back an extra year due to attendance shortage and had to leave the placement

While the auto-startup domain hadn’t quite flourished in India, then and after not getting an interview with any of the major automotive players. Joined to teach what I loved apart from Automobile.
