Test Score Retake
Planning on retaking SAT because it seems like a lot of firms ask for it. My question is how do the firms authenticate the scores in the first place? If it is from CollegeBoard then I'm fine but if they get it off of my HS transcript, then I will look like I lied about my score. Anyone know by chance?

Can't say I've seen any firms truly care about it.
Honestly I only think this is relevant for quant roles or hedgefunds. Nobody else will ask.
But, the two categories listed above frequently will
I am a college freshman so I guess idk but are HFs really going to ask your test score 10-15 years out of high school that seems dumb
It seems dumb but I went to a HF and they asked for my SAT and even AP scores which is ridiculous. I don't think it is the norm but I have heard of some places asking for them.
AP scores? Imagine bombing your AP Lit test and having an HF call you stupid because you can't interpret stories
