Honestly I would bet that you're not broadcasting your accomplishments well enough. If you're not introducing yourself to girls by saying something in the ballpark of "hi I'm wallstreetbulldog and I'm a remote analyst at xyz boutique... don't worry it's okay to drool." you're doing it wrong.

Not sure if this is a troll but I'll give a real answer too. Girls are going to be attracted to someone who can provide them with more resources, but having a remote internship really doesn't mean shit for that. Important resources to girls in college are, among other things, connections to those with higher social status, access to the best parties, immediate spending power, and, frankly, drugs. You may full well be in a position to make hundreds of millions of dollars one day, but the average girl isn't going to recognize that while you're in college making no money and tweeking out over spreadsheets.

People on this forum have this delusion that once you get that first analyst gig you'll rocket to the top of the world which just isn't true. The only social group that fully understands the preftige of your job is ironically a group that you'll be at the bottom of once you start working.

My advice: reassess your priorities, don't be defined by your career ambitions, and figure out how to attain more relevant resources.

Wait. This guy thought working at an "Elite Boutique" would help him get laid?

Most non-finance people don't even know what IBD is. Let alone the idea of an EB. The only girls who'd actually care about that would be the girls in the business frats at a place like NYU Stern or Cornell.
