Thoughts on D.A. Davidson's IB?
I hear they do really well in FIG, but lately I've been hearing that they are doing great in other coverage groups as well. Their IB presence is getting larger. Anyone know much about their history?

Good lower MM IB. Building products and materials/mining is in Denver (building products may also be L.A.) and has decent deal flow. Will do a couple consumer deals per year as well, but FIG is above and beyond it's most active group, followed by RE.
Great to hear. I'm from the Pacific Northwest and their brand is very well known here due to their HQ, but they seem to be expanding quickly.
I recently read about them starting an investment banking partnership with a European Firm too.
I agree with you about the consumer group picking up steam!
The international "partnerships" are effectively worthless if they aren't the same firm from what I've witnessed among MM shops. Not saying it hurts, but it rarely helps as much as if it is an actual office.
