TRADING: MOVE FROM LONDON TO SOUTH AMERICA

Hello, trying to get some ideas flowing here..

I am based in LDN at a BB bank but with the growing regs/tightening and decreasing pay I am considering moving to a south american bank BB bank in santiago, caracas or SP.

anyone here working in any of these places/anyone with experience in the area can share any experiences/thoughtS? I am a 3yr analyst.

thanks vm!

My girlfriend spent 3 months in Sao Paulo/Argentina for a BB. Culture is much more lax, people are nicer, and she really enjoyed her time there.

That's all I got.

I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know everything that shine ain't always gonna be gold. I'll be fine once I get it

Generally why not, I mean if you speak the local language/are willing to pick it up, pay is good and prospects of moving up are given its a good choice.

I have lived in South America for years and now having lived in London again for a few years I would really have a hard time to spend my live over there, if thats not an issue for you go for it

exactly. i think it can be a good prospect for a certain amount of time. not a permanent move but worth for the time being - no good slaving here for crap pay and depressing prospects......
