Transaction Advisory to IB

Hey Everyone, I am currently in between jobs looking to transition from Accounting to IB as an Associate. I finish my MBA and MSF programs in Fall 2020 from a non-target university, so I am still able to apply for a "Summer 2020 Associate position". I want to make sure I take the right job in the interim to give me leverage over other candidates. I have an interview for a Transaction Advisory role which I think will give me that leverage to apply for the internship vs. a traditional corporate finance position. Any pointers?
