UCLA MFE for a trading career?
I recently got into UCLA's MFE program. My experience in trading is limited to a put up your own capital prop firm (where I've made some money from learning on my own, but not enough to make a living so far). My goal after completion of such a program would be to get a trading job either at a bank or on the buy side. I've been trying to break in for a while now and can't get any internships. I am wondering if this program could help put me over the top. I know that its location isn't ideal for banks, but I wouldn't mind going to Singapore or Hong Kong for a few years if I had to. I desperately want to break in and wouldn't mind trading any financial products. Thank you.
