Undegraduate Exchange Destination
Hello everyone,
I am starting my second year at a target school in Engineering in the UK. I have a few possibilities for exchange programmes for the whole of the third year. I want to go to the USA to get international experience. The exchange partners are MIT, Carnegie-Mellon, University of California (can't choose which campus though). Otherwise I can go to University of Melbourne or NUS and a few others in Europe such as EPFL.
My objective is to enter PE straight out of undergrad or after two/three years of IBD.
Which school would you recommend for my exchange programme and for what reasons?
Thank you very much
any reply would be much appreciated :)
I'd choose either MIT or NUS. MIT because you'll be at a target school in the US and get international exposure at a great institution. Or NUS because Singapore seems really awesome. Most likely you'll do IB and then PE, unless you're one of the 1% of target students that get a PE offer straight out. Assuming you're after roles in the UK, your target is your best bet at getting an offer, so choose anywhere. If you're recruiting in the US, by far go with MIT and network while you're here.
