Undergraduate Recruiters
What recruiting firms, if any, can a senior in college use in hopes of landing interviews and/or interest from firms? Is there a firm where you just submit your resume and hope to hear something? Don't know anything about it and hoping for someone to shed light on the topic.
i don't think this exists. The banks each have a website where you can apply...and they have recruiting fairs at their target schools where they get more than enough submissions to fill their 1st year analyst seats.
However, as a college senior, you are 2 years late to the game...you should have been pursuing internships for your sophmore and junior summers...and then pursuing full time in aug-sept of your senior year (yes, right at the end of junior summer internships).
Asof now, your only hope is networking / family /friend connection to a wall street firm for front office positions. The back office is a different story (because few people want those jobs). Tech is also a better situation...because there is a lack of people with tech skills.
So, either start networking (if you are in a frat, then you can tap into the alumni network)...otherwise, start asking friends /family for introductions (with the knowledge that most firms have already fully filled their 2019 class). Or, you can plan on getting a masters in something (financial engineering? statistics?)....which will allow you to apply for summer 2019/2020 internships (you might have missed 2019 summer already tho)
