Ups and Downs of being an attractive girl and interviewing for Investment Banking?

I have yet to get a summer internship offer and I have gotten pretty bs feedback in all interviews. I am beginning to wonder if being an attractive female has been ruining my shots. I just feel like I am not taken seriously at times.
Guys and girls do you have any advice for me? i dress very professionally, I go to a target school.
When you have interviewed someone especially an attractive woman, did you not want to give her the spot because of it? I am just a bit confused

Thanks! i don't know I am just trying to figure out different solutions for why I haven't received an offer because the "honest feedback" that I have gotten has honestly been BS. It is almost summer and it is stressing me TF out haha.

No one gets honest feedback. It is an HR liability. And if you think being an attractive female is a negative, you either are not attractive or don't know what you are interviewing for. Considering the vast majority of men in finance are awkwards ass nerds, being attractive and female is probably one of the best combinations there can be. Oh, and the massive initiative banks have to hire women and other minorities.

I'd suggest talking to a friend in finance or one that has an offer and asking them for honest feedback. Your outfit might not be professional enough. Your answers might not be concise or accurate, or you might been more working networking.

Sorry about @TNA" , forgot to give him a tighter leash before he started offering shit advice.

You need to go ask them, press them for details. And also build a relationship with them so that a) you have channels to ask feedback and b) they're comfy enough to share feedback.

If you get feedback, chances are a) they want you if you interviewed better and b) your stories didn't line up.

Having "unprofessional outfit" or "not attractive enough" could be total bullshit. Once you're in the interview, being female is a bonus card if you do as good of a job as a guy. Align outfits with other waiting candidates and rulebooks is all.

This either a troll or gotta be the worst first world problem I've heard. There are studies that link higher pay to more attractive people. The banks might not take you seriously because of the way you come across, which you might think of it as being "attractive". However in a professional world, especially in a high-stress environment where everything you do is critical to the deal, it may come across annoying and distracting.

Yeah, I agree with everyone else here, you should definitely come back to my room. Everyone was like saying, "yo, IBLoverGirl, your username makes you sound fucking crazy but you and FratLord have crazy dope chemistry. You should jerk his balls off. Only his balls though, not the shaft. He's into that yo."
