Using Models to Invest
Are models relevant to actual investing?
I feel like IB models businesses with strategies that do not accurately reflect what a business is and will be in x amount of years. It seems more like technical analysis rather than fundamental analysis which is proven time and time again to be fallacious.

If you acknowledge these shortcomings in the way IB uses these models, how have you been able to prevent yourself from adopting to their mentality?
