Spring 2021 advices for French student (STUDIES AND INTERNSHIPS)

Hello everyone, I'm new on wso.

Quick presentation :
Sorry if I am too long, but I prefer to be precise because I am not always clear in English.
French student, with 1 year of advance (born in 2003), I am interested in a career in investment banking ( not sure about anything but I think it's a very interesting industry).
I already got 1 internship (start up in Paris), some work experience, I am able to speak 4 languages ( French, English, Spanish, Chinese) and I have some diploma (Aeronautical Initiation Degree and HSK Level 1). I also have some international experience, in countries like England, Marocco, USA, Belgium, Italy, Spain.
Currently in my final year of high school in France (science speciality=> math, physics and biology), I am wondering what to do in the future.
For next year, I've been admitted in the university of my city (top 20 of French public universities and top 5 law and social science department) in the licence (bachelor in French universities) in economics, law and management (it's a 3-year degree, like all the French licences) and in a French class «preparatoire».
I would like to have some advices.
I was looking for internships opportunities, and I have discovered the spring internships, and it's looking very good for me, because it could give me the opportunity to discover all the banking industry and the careers possibilities.
1) Except the spring week or insight, is there any internship in investment banking (especially in the summer)?
2) If I choose the university, can I apply for internships like other international students (do you know some French students who are in licence ?)
3)The French licences are very academical, with a lot of theory but not a lot of internship, so do you think I will have to do a master degree after my licence ? (of course I can apply alone for internship).
4) Does I have a chance for the spring insight? I'm not from a «target school» and I'm young, so I hope the bank won't think I'm unable to be at the level.
5) After some research, I was very interested in LevFin and ECM, could you give me your thoughts on this 2 jobs (personal experience, or just your feelings).
Thank you very much for your attention, it was very long, and I hope I was clear enough, I'm a new born in financial world, and have a good day.

Thanks for the reply. I really hesitate with the prepa, but the problem is that prepa is all about hard work for 2 years, without the possibility to have work experience or others activities. Of course, top 20 of public universities is not very strong, but the university is top 5 in law and social science (public and private universities combined), so I think that fact could offset the average level of the others faculty (letters, medicine). The other possibility is to join a UK university as transfer student to join it in the second year. My average level is around 14-17/20, in GPA it's something like 3.5-3.75.

in banking if it’s not HEC you will have a tough time. From my spring I saw very few (still happens at times) some people from EDHEC, daupine (something like this) and ESSEC.

A lot of French from my uni went to the UK instead of prepa. If you need help you can DM me

You’re partly right.

Basically no one does internships in High finance before masters in France. If you want to break in, either do prepa into Top 5 Business/Engineering schools, or if you don’t want to do prepa do Sciences Po (Paris only) or Dauphine. It’s as simple as that. Anyone that’s not from such a background will rarely if ever get an interview. Now you just need to figure a path into these masters.
