Wharton M&T (+20k) vs Harvard
A friend of mine got into Wharton for the M&T program (engineering and Wharton - same program Kenneth Asness did) and Harvard - thing is Harvard is 20k a year cheaper. Where do you think he should go ? Is M&T really worth 80k over a good school like Harvard ?
uhh
are you fucking serious?
Wut
Seems like a Biastoise question.
Yea, I mean his name is stupidquestions
harvard... and they don't deserve to be there if they can't figure that one out.
I feel like Wharton > Harvard.
I don't see how this is so obvious. 80k is chump change compared to some of the things you will be able to do with that degree.
Really? Is this a question? Tell your friend to go to UPenn so they can give the Harvard spot to someone with common sense.
Ok. This guy is obviously a troll. Mods, please remove these trolls from WSO. They're damaging the integrity of this great site.
Since both schools offer need-based financial aid, money shouldn't be an issue. And actually Harvard has one of the best financial aid programs in the country.
Academically, I know a few who turned down harvard for M&T. The kids in that program are freaking brilliant, and you get sick job opportunities coming out. Most of them don't even end up getting an MBA.

Just means you're a bigger troll
Money us an issue, Penn's financial aid is not that generous, especially if you are an international student. Almost without exception, the people I know who got into both turned down Harvard fro M&T, I ask because the aid Penn's given him just isn't competitive with Harvard so I'm wondering whether M&T is still worth it since it is exactly what he wants to do, is more elite, but is way more expensive (unless Penn tries to match Harvard).
