what b-schools for phd
I plan to apply for phd programs in business(CIS/MIS concentration), my GPA for UG and grad. is 3.6 and 3.98. GMAT 690 and two papers under review in international journals, and 2 yrs of RA experience.my list of universities for apply is:

There's a disconnect between your GPAs and GMAT scores. If you can get your GMAT up to a 750, I see no reason why UW Madison, Minnesota, Illinois, and perhaps even Michigan should be off the list if you have strong references. Even without a higher GMAT, I don't think they would be a waste of your or your referrers' time at all.
well , It is not possible for me to retake the test because I'm in Iran and there is no test center here and as I have not served the military service yet there is a limitation for abroad travels, so I have to stick to this score. considering this score what do you think about my chances to get admitted?(I have decent LORs from internationally well know profs in university by the way)
I think that there's a 50/50 chance of you getting into a Big Ten school if you apply to several of the stronger ones in finance. Naturally, it's good to have some backups, too.
It will be difficult to get funding your first few years- there's just fewer research opportunities for finance/business PhDs than other areas in the US.
