are we talking about wranglers or fancier jeans?
Polos, crewnecks, whatever. Is it really that hard to figure out what to wear with a pair of jeans? Pretty much anything works.
Lee's
A lot of times I'll wear a Henly with boots. Usually layer some sort of jacket on top as well depending on the weather. Occasionally will go with a button down.
Shoes...
Since nobody really elaborated much...
I usually wear a casual button down shirt and casual loafers with jeans, assuming they're halfway decent jeans. If they're not halfway decent jeans I'm usually on a motorcycle and dressed accordingly(boots, thick leather jacket etc).
Either way you need to act as if you're always in the game from the moment you step out your door.
casual khaki pants > jeans
Polo or button-down, then oxford (suede or leather) or sperrys with a matching belt. Then of course wayfarers
So Fratty.
I prefer dark fitted v-necks, but depends on the weather and occasion. I think button down shirts are tacky and not stylish nowadays, even at bars/clubs.
Amen. Why does every aging bachelor I pass by at brunch hour in the city think they're cool by wearing a striped button down tucked into jeans with some overly dressy shoes on.
Brooks Brothers polo shirt and gold cup sperrys that are worth more than half these kids financial aid!
harrington jacket (cream/navy/black/burgundy) crew neck t (white/grey/black) jeans (black/stonewash/indigo) boots (black/dark brown)
Affliction/Ed Hardy. ..sometimes Tapout
Fresh pair of Chuck Taylors and a crisp wife beater
Various long sleeves, roll up when it's hot out, and polos.
T-shirts.
surprisingly, these are in with the youngsters these days. add nipple rings for extra points
So as a 40 year old this ain't (sic) cool? I walked into a meeting wearing this the other day, obviously with a nice $4000 Italian sports coat on top, and thought yay? Or nay?
I also wasn't wearing underwear. Cool, right?
