What is equity derivatives Flow Sales

Hello,
I will have an interview at BNP in equity derivatives flow sales.
I know what equity derivatives are but can someone tell me that flow sales is?

Moreover, can you please explain me in short what they are doing?

What type of technical questions can be asked? Should I prepare for exotic options?

Thank you in advance

I think the flow desk usually deals with client trades. They receive a quote request and provide a price for the derivative (often in pitch with other market makers. There are sales guys and their traders. Technical questions could be how equity derivatives works (e.g. about the option Greeks and how they influence the prices or how futures are priced etc.)

I'm currently doing an off-cycle internship in a BB and have the derivatives sales next to me on the floor. Where I work, the Equity Derivatives Sales guys are separated in two categories: the flow sales who deal with lighter products like vanilla options and the structured equity derivatives sales who work on structured products, convertibles etc. Don't 'know if its the same everywhere though but I would say no you don't need to prepare for exotic options (IMO)
