What is your favorite pizza chain?

I vote Dominos. Their pan is great, and the 2 medium 2-topping pizzas for 5.99 each is a great deal. Not a big fan of their toppings tho.

Papa johns sauce is just wack imo.

Pizza Hut is garbage idk why people like it. It’s good for being shitty pizza but it’s way too expensive.

Jet’s is ok but nothing special.

Marco’s is decent - usually get it at the beach bc it’s close to the crib.

Cici’s buffet is absolute garbage - hadn’t been in forever and went once in college and the crust was that of a wet piece of notebook paper.

Stevie B’s and haven’t had in forever but it was decent.

Mellow Mushroom fucking SLAPS but it’s more expensive than the places mentioned above.

I agree with dominos. I think its a solid chain. Get their thin crust and request it extra crispy and it is heaven.

As for others, I like chains like Blaze where they make it in front of you. The ingredients are fresh too, but Dominos is my comfort food.

Dominos thin crust is tasty, but is so light that to me it feels like a snack or an appetizer. The pan pizza is easily their best item.

I think Pizza Hut just stays in business from nostalgia- atleast once a year I'll order from them just for the breadsticks. Anyone else grow up going to Target with their parents and getting PH bread sticks??

I like Papa John’s.

Dominos deep dish is good too, but usually when I order it they just make a regular pizza and it really pisses me off sometimes.

Before Papa Gino's went bankrupt, we used to go there a lot when I was a kid; we went there for a quick dinner after my great aunt's wake. Otherwise, I like Pizza Hut quite a bit despite the overall hatred for it here; my family always gets angry that they don't open any near our house. Closest one used to be on Route 9 in Natick, now it's in Revere. Got me out of the house during the start of the pandemic -- that and Kelly's Roast Beef.

I'm pretty hungry now...

Domino's in this thread is like the Taco Bell or McD's of the fast food thread. It's the same everywhere you go, doesn't have to be absolute 10's across the board. You just know you're getting something above average no matter where at. It's the local and regional chains that usually get the absolute nod. But if you start listing off places in NY or LA I'd be lost, just the same if I listed off places here in TX. Hell, only reason I even know Mellow Mushroom is going there when I was in Denver.

BTW, eat Domino's.

Domino’s reigns supreme in the fast food pizza category. The $5.99 deal on hand-tossed is the best value proposition in the game, although (unpopular opinion) I can go for a $5 Hot-N-Ready every now and again too. The $5.99 deal is made a bit cheaper considering the 1 free pizza for every 6 qualifying orders (2 pizzas at a time for me so 1/13 pizzas I order is free, so really 12/13*$5.99=$5.53 pre-tax). The pan is something else too. Hook me up on an IV of butter, baby! Much better than Pizza Hut. There’s enough gold garlic dust on that Domino’s crust it puts the Klondike to shame.
