what to wear to HFT interviews
serious question... what should you wear to HFT interviews?
first HFT interview i had, i wore a suit+tie, and my interviewer i.e. my future boss was wearing camouflage cargo shorts and sandals and seemed embarrassed about it to the point of half-jokingly apologizing about it
later as i started interviewing candidates for my old job, i found i would almost subconsciously form negative notions about the guys in suit+tie, because they looked/acted/sounded like bankers, who wouldn't "get" HFT

I would guess just lose the tie unless the place is more like Jane Street or whatever, and they want you to actually come in jeans. Ask HR...
