Full Time Timeline

Hello, I'm seeking some advice.

I'm currently part of the class of 2025 at a top semi-target/target school. I've secured a summer position in the financial markets group at a smaller foreign bank. Specifically, I've been placed in the corporate derivatives sales group, which I believe is managing commodity,fx,interest rate risk for corporations.

I'm curious about the timeline and pathway for transitioning into a full-time role in either traditional S&T or a structuring position at a larger institution. Which job opportunities should I be keeping an eye out for? When do new graduate programs typically open up? And how can I effectively leverage my summer experience to secure a full-time position?

I have basic experience with Python and Pandas, have completed coursework focused on financial markets, and am SIE certified.

Thank you in advance!
