When would you consider renegeing on an IB offer?

I know that you never want to renege on an offer but I feel that banks are putting candidates in an awkward position this year and was wondering in what sort of situations you all would consider reneging on an offer. Would you only consider reneging on a BMO/Maccuarie/RBC for a JPM/MS/GS or would you also consider reneging on a lower ranked BB (Citi/UBS/CS) for those same opportunities. I know that by the book you never want to renege but am wondering what people opinions are given some of the varying timelines this year?
