Where to live abroad during Fall Semester?

So my school is going to be completely online, and I am thinking about taking advantage and living abroad for the Fall semester while doing school remotely. I have enough money saved up for a semester's worth of modest rent and have significant experience with third world countries. I don't have a huge budget but am comfortable with very cheap/communal living. Obviously the coronavirus and travel bans complicate things, but I just feel like I might not have an opportunity like this again where I am not tied down to any location and have no real responsibilities. I am hoping to get a few people to go with me, but we'll see if I can convince anyone to take the plunge with me. It just seems like it would be such a waste of freedom to spend the entire semester back at home or in a half empty dorm when you've got the whole world to explore!

If you were in my shoes, where would you go? Any advice in terms of how to make it happen? I am totally open to any suggestions. Thanks a ton!

Which countinent would you prefer? What languages do you speak? Are you male (important info for some Muslim countries)?

“Destiny is a gift. Some go their entire lives, living existences of quiet desperation, never learning the truth that what feels as though a burden pushing down upon their shoulders is really a sense of purpose that lifts us to greater heights. Never forget that fear is but the precursor to valor, that to strive and triumph in the face of fear is what it means to be a hero. Don’t think. Become.”

I don't think there is a continent that I would prefer - I might be less interested in Asia though. I am pretty open to any idea right now. I speak English/Spanish fluently. I am male and while I definitely want to live somewhere safe, I am open to living in a place that might be considered more adventurous. Thanks for the help!

Spain - on the Mediterranean (Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante)

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

I would recommend Southeast Asia. There's so much to see, do, try, eat, etc... It's also extremely inexpensive you could easily live on $5-$10 a day including housing, food, booze. Would say to make Vietnam (ho chi Minh or Hanoi) or Thailand (Bangkok) as your home base and travel to other places out of those cities. Or even just bounce around continuously would still be along the same lines cost wise.
