Which calculus in college is important on transcript for IB internships?

Hi my brother is a freshman and is considering taking Calc III, but the better professor is offered in the spring. He wants to take more advanced finance classes already though so he was also thinking postponing calculus to sophomore spring.

I took calc I so I don’t know how to best advise him. We know that GPA matters and nailing interviews (so you need to know finance stuff) more than the specific classes, so that’s why delaying calculus is an option. But taking it sophomore spring means there would be no calculus grade when he recruits.

Which path would you recommend?

Is it okay to delay taking calculus if a student is knowledgeable in the subject?

Thanks!
