Why give relocation bonus after full-time relocation?
Can anyone explain to me why a bank would pay its incoming analysts a relocation bonus after their scheduled relocation?
Does it not make more sense to give an incoming analyst -- a broke, recent college graduate, perhaps not from a wealthy family, who is moving to arguably the most expensive city in the country -- the $10,000 needed to pay for wardrobe, a 2-month security deposit, and another essentials PRIOR to the start date?
Ugh...
Go to a citibank and ask for a personal loan; if you have a credit score of over 600 and are starting a new job they will give it to you. Your problem is now solved. There rate is 10.4% right now, HOWEVER if you pay it off within the first you don't pay anything.(Obv I have a friend who's a personal banker there) Goodluck
Thanks bro...I'll look into that
Edit: Ugh...I read about the loan online...apparently you need to have an account with Citi for at least 2 months...I don't...awesome.
Then go to the bank which you do have an account...
Yeah I'm going to..the Citi deal just looked attractive
I just asked him this morning and he said the way he gets around that is he just opens up a checking account for you and all is well. If you're near long island I can give you his info and he'd be more then happy to help.
