Looking for Guidance
Hi All,
I am looking for a little bit of guidance on my career path. I am not exactly sure what I want to do after graduation in finance.
Background Info:
Currently 3rd year at non target double majoring in Finance and Accounting
3.3 GPA (3.6 Finance/Accounting), which I can probably get up to a 3.5 overall.
3 internships:
1) research and due diligence at small commodities trading firm
2) MO at AM firm
3) PWM firm where I do a little bit of everything including due diligence on HF, PE, VC, AM.
I am not exactly sure what I want to do, but I enjoy building models, valuation, reading up on the markets, and investing.
Any realistic guidance would be helpful, I am just trying to get a feel for any possibility.

Depending on what career path/location/size of firm you are looking for post-grad, a MSF degree can be a great way for a non-target candidate to replace his undergrad degree with a marquee name in one year. This can get you into a different category of candidates, will benefit you in networking through an expanded base, and could really improve your job options. If you're wanting to go BB IB or get to New York, MSF might be your best bet from a non-target unless you do some serious networking. With a good GPA and your internships it would be a good path post-grad. Feel free to PM if you need more info.
I'm potentially very interested in an MSF. I have great stats, test scores, etc but attend a non target. However, said non target is well known and decently respected (never been brought up negatively in an interview at least) and so I would only be interested in MIT/Princeton/Duke type program as opposed to UVA/BC/Villanova (heard the MS programs at these schools suck balls for BBs/Consulting firms and that you'll be stuck at a place like UBS/Accenture at best). How hard is it to get into a marquee ivy league program?
