I've heard a lot of about target schools and etc.. but what about 3-2 engineering programs certain LACs have with big name schools like Columbia, Dartmouth, Caltech etc? Would someone from this kind of background place well given they can have the engineering school alumni and LAC alumni networks? How does this fare for things like IB and consulting?
