For those of you who graduated without a job, how long did it take to get one?

Graduated in may from a non target, have had internships in consulting and writing, and currently do freelance journalism remote. Looking to get into equity research

I have had interviews for IB, ER, consulting, PE, etc even with a crummy GPA. But have had no luck so far.

My coping method is telling myself that I want to take the summer off to enjoy myself and find something in September.

Im just getting worried now because job postings, especially in ER are starting to dry up. For those of you who graduated without a job, how long did it take to get one in the field you wanted to be in?
