I can’t stop bombing interviews
Over the last couple months I have gone through countless interviews, only to absolutely bomb on some form or another. When I get asked something I don’t know my brain just locks up and I go blank. Lowkey have aspergers and my voice is just robotic and I can’t just seem to nail a single one. Every single internship I had I got over email or by a reference from a professor and never interviewed for any internships I had. I an a recent grad from a non target with a crappy GPA, yet somehow I have interviewed for IB, PE, equity research, management consulting etc. had an interview today and the guy would respond with “yeahhhhhhh” to my answers.
I practice for hours and in school I would do mock interviews but no matter how much I try I can never get it right.
Sorry for the rant. I just feel like a retard sometimes and I’m tired of feeling like complete shit after an interview ends after 5-10 minutes knowing that I bombed the shit out of it. I know my technicals, I can crank a model in my sleep but my social skills are horrendous.

The best thing you can try to do is to relax a bit during the interviews. Just take a few deep breaths before you go in and try to speak naturally and not like your rehearsing from a script. It sounds like your over preparing and trying to memorize every word. Have a few bullet points in your head about what you want to speak about then just let the rest naturally flow.

Try propanolol, a beta blocker that lowers your heart rate. It may help during interviews.
that would help for anxiety not sure it would help for aspergers though unless this dude also has anxiety then it would solve that.
so since you have aspergers you are probably having different problems than most like you might not be nervous or going blank you might really just not know what to say. Assuming you have money you think you could ever get a video of you interviewing and go over it with a psychologist? Probably run you 200 a session to meet with one id think unless you could tell your insurance its mental health and then get big discount or paid for if covered by your policy.
