Qatalyst Analyst Overall Experience?

Potentially joining as a lateral, will have to redo a year as an analyst which I’m fine with. Curious on everything to do with the analyst experience: A1/A2 comp, dinner and other benefits, WFH expectations, hours generally. Any color is really appreciated because while my interviewers have been open about whatever I’ve asked, struggling to find the right way to ask MDs how much analysts work lol. Thanks again!

I have two friends that work there. The analysts get paid a bit higher than other EBs / on par with Centerview. The pay get significantly better than other EBs at the associate level and above.

Food benefits are pretty solid ($40/weeknight and $75/weekend day), and analysts get to go to nice expensed dinners every Friday. Need to be in office for food during the week I think

Not sure what the above comment is talking about regarding 11pm nights though. From what I hear everyone is getting absolutely crushed right now and weekends are not protected. Culture seems good though

Great culture from a camaraderie and mentorship basis according to multiple ex-coworkers that started as analysts there. But work hours are pretty insane since they're so busy. Would expect to be grinding pretty hard at the analyst level. I know people that pulled multiple 100+ hr weeks in a row, though that was also 8+ years ago.
