we had an event there in december. it had a small turnout but no reason we can't do another. with some homepage promo we should be able to get more. email if you want to host it (WallStreetOasis.com>[email protected]) and ill get an event up, thanks

I'd love to host, but have no clue where a good place is as it will be my first visit. I'm staying near Logan's Square and City Hall. Any evening Sun-Thurs (1/27-1/31) after 7pm would be fine for me. Any recommendations?

I hear that. I think these things can be a great way to meet like-minded professionals.

And to protect my identity, I'll just mention that I work in the back office. It's about as good as being invisible!

I dunno what an ERP consultant does but I'm fun to drink with. If Patrick would stop scheduling the Senior Discount happy hour times I would probably be present. You should go. From my experience in NYC they are fun, and work makes up about 5% of conversations.

heard they had a good turnout (~20 people) and even a MD showed up for a bit and joined in the fun. next one coming up in June, make sure you're on the houston mailing list
