What to do with a Lehman Offer?

What to do with a Lehman Offer?

So I got a full-time offer from Lehman Brothers this summer. I realize that things change moment-by-moment and the current rumor is that the Fed is going to do a Bear Stearns style bailout. My questions: who thinks this offer is going to be upheld (by Lehman or whoever buys them out) and how should I leverage it into a full-time offer with another bank?

Hold on there...if it gets

Hold on there...if it gets bought out, just how much leverage have you got?

If you are going to leverage it, better find a way to rush that interview process. Considering the flow of conversations, maybe get an offer from Bank of America.

interview for boutiques or

interview for boutiques or other specialty firms. would not put too much thought into a Lehman offer. Even if the firm stays afloat, this whole debacle will leave it scarred for quite sometime and it is highly probably that many of its good people will end up leaving.

Get KingBling89 and 10 of his closest friends, and engage in a circle jerk at the thought of how "balls" it will be to work at Lehman!

Don't set your expectations too high though - I hear that just the thought of stepping foot into 745 Seventh makes kingbling prematurely ejac!
