WSO Hits 100,000 Members!

Dear Fellow Primates,

After six years in business, WSO has hit 100,000 members and counting! I wanted to make this post to let you know how thankful I am to all of you for all that you give back to the community.

We couldn't have done it without the countless members that give back to the new guys every day, so thank you, thank you, thank you. There are millions of visitors that browse WSO every year, but the community (registered members) is what really makes WSO an engaging, fun and useful place. You are why WSO keeps getting bigger and stronger. We keep pushing forward with exciting new initiatives like the Company Database and our new FAQ section to try and make WSO the best place to find useful insight into the entire world of finance.

To celebrate this exciting milestone, we'd like to offer some discounts for all of you:

WallStreetOasis.comThanks guys! funny to think back to 2006 when I was super excited about hitting 1,000 users :-)

It'll be even funnier in 5 years when you'll laugh at how excited you were at 100,000.

Because when you're in a room full of smart people, smart suddenly doesn't matter—interesting is what matters.

David Aamescongrats wso, how many of those 100k are brady's accounts? :)

~3-4 I think, but lost count....checking to see who it is now.

Hey, at least you don't have the problem of dogs making user accounts unlike Facebook.

With Brady, you still get a picture of a dog though.

Congrats!

Either you're slingin' crack-rock, or you've got a wicked jump shot. There's no honor in taking that after school job at Mickey Dee's, honor's in the dollar, kid.

JPete318][quote=AsatarSo when's the IPO?!

If you need help getting in touch with VCs and angel investors, I know a guy:

HAHAHA. He's in no position to get involved with anything else at the moment, I assure you. He's so buried in Airtime right now he can't even see daylight. Here's what he had to say about it last week:

“Running a start-up is like eating glass. You just start to like the taste of your own blood.”

Sounds like he's having a blast, lol.

Pretty amazing. Congrats Patrick and the rest of the WSO team.

"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen."

For celebration, you should hand out a couple free bananas to the userbase; if nothing, at least so that I have some to SB this post.
