Waiting on PE Recruiting because the world is in shambles

Hey - was curious to know if others who are starting out as an IB analyst this summer were considering doing a third year as an analyst and waiting to recruit? Given that my start date was delayed by about a month, if the process kicks off at the usual time I would be wildly unprepared.

Everything is just such a mess right now, and I just don't have an interest in recruiting/interviewing virtually. Plus, I think there are unforeseen consequences on our economy that have yet to be realized, and tend to think the devil I know (banking) might serve me better than the devil I don't (PE) in the uncertainty.
