Asking for guidance on AM internship preparation

Kind people on WSO, I'm yet again turning to your help.Having been admitted to master's degree at target European school, I am spending most of my time currently going over technicals for summer internships and going over several finance books to better prepare myself for the complex curriculum ahead.Whilst my interest primarily lies in IB, I'm contemplating AM as well. Frankly largely due to the work/life balance that it offers unlike IB. I'm however completely clueless as to how should I approach the preparation process, or most importantly what should I look into. Whilst it's clear for IB what technicals are going to be like and what questions are going to be about (valuations, a bit of accounting, etc.), in AM it's a bit blurry at least for me at this stage. Could you please guide me through what materials/concepts I should look into to prepare for frequently asked technical questions within AM and what are those questions/concepts that get frequently asked/tested on interviews for summer internships? I'm particularly curious about BlackRock, PIMCO, etc.)Merci in advance.
