Do they provide accommodation during FT training?

Hey guys, I am an incoming analyst at a New York bank. The bank brings analysts from around the world to New York for a global training session for a few weeks before returning to our respective offices (in my case the office would be in New York). The thing is I'm not sure what the usual protocol is. Does the bank cover the air tickets for analysts to the training grounds? Do they cover the accommodation and where would we be staying? I suppose they would do so for the analysts coming from overseas, but what about analysts who are not in new york but are going to be working in the new york office?  I'm not in New York btw so that's why it's quite confusing for me and I have to figure out when I should start moving to New York coz I don't wanna be wasting a few weeks of rent when I'm not even going to be occupying my apartment lol. And I gotta book flight tix soon too...so Idk if the bank is going to cover it. prices arent good if its too late.

Also if anyone has recommendations on how to go about doing it - should I lease and drop my stuff off before heading to the training, or just bring all my stuff to the hotel straight away and then start the lease after the training ends?

hey, thanks for your reply! got it and in that case what do new york office analysts usually do? do they move in to the apartment earlier and try to negotiate a prorated rent or just suck it up? or does my idea of going straight to the hotel/corporate housing with all my junk work and then starting my lease after the training seem...doable?

Update: They don't cover anything at all for NYC analysts. All accommodation, air fare and etc are to be borne by the analyst even if the training ground is different from the NYC office they are originally posted to. Disappointing. (This is for JPM).
