So on 1/3 I submitted an application for a role at GS. Yesterday, I received an update on the app that I am "currently not being considered" for the role. The interesting thing about it all is that I still have the option to withdraw my application from the process. If I was denied completely-- wouldn't they not even give me that option? Also, I have a friend who is a VP and was able to make an employee referral on my behalf. This did not happen until the day AFTER I received the update on my application.
Has anyone had this experience before? What are your thoughts?
