I read on poets and quants from an article in 2017that Bain and Co paid Ug's 85K with up to 15% bonus. I messed up. I'll be going into my application and see if can change the bonus down to 12k which is 12.5% of base.
I didn't adjust for inflation because wages haven't risen with inflation and also the WL balance and WFH. Also, this is clearly not a BB
My dumb ass got rejected for asking for $80k base and $105k total comp. Stupid glass door...

can't you just tell them you are fine with what they consider appropriate since you understand that money is not the main factor at the start. once you have experience you can get more money wither by asking for a raise or moving.
