Advice For Full Time Recruiting
Hey All,
Deciding if I should really invest in prepping for full time recruiting next fall, and I would appreciate any advice:
- Currently a junior in in engineering at a non-target, but still a strong public that sends students to all the major firms every year
- Great leadership experiences
- two completed internships with F500's in engineering and supply chain
- Interning at a boutique consulting firm this summer either doing M&A or operations work
- GPA is 3.4 and thats the issue, because even though I am engineering that still feels low
So I at my current stage, the only reason I would really leave the consulting firm I am working at this summer is for MBB or some top boutique firms (OW, AT Kearney, etc...) in major cities. I think the work I will be doing and the exposure I would get would be more beneficial then going to Deloitte, PwC, or Accenture. I feel in terms of networking and all the other little things, I will also do fine, but my gpa is my crutch.
I would appreciate any opinions on what your thoughts are, but feel free to be real as well.
