Backpack recommendation
Hi! I need a new backpack. Does anyone have recommendations? I travel for work frequently and want something with a luggage pass-through, water bottle holder, and enough space for gym clothes and sneakers.
I've been looking at a Tumi Search or Navigation. Does anyone have either or a different recommendation?
Tumis are heavy. They’re obviously well made and premium, but if you’re going to have it around your shoulder on the go, I’d go light. Look at outdoors brands: Osprey, Ogio, North Face, Dakine, etc
Can't back Peak Design enough. High price point, but I've replaced my bag three times (about to try for a 4th!) over 8-ish years of beating the SHIT out if it (backpacking + fell 60 feet when my buddy kicked it; got driven over in NYC and didn't tear, but the zipper got crushed; general wear and tear) and I've gotten a new bag each time. Straps are super comfy, they look clean as hell, and the modular interior is really neat! If you're a one-bag type of person for trips, it can function as a 4-5 day bag as well.
I LOVE my Nomatic backpack. It's been over-engineered to be perfect for traveling.
