Bain Boston vs Strategy& Deals Strategy NYC

I have 2 offers on the table: Bain & Company Boston office and Strategy& Deals Strategy team NYC. Which position is considered more prestigious, have better exit ops? My goals after working in consulting for a few years are to exit to a PE firm or attend an M7 b-school. Obviously Bain is the more prestigious company but NYC seems to be viewed as the best city to work in regarding career trajectory, and the Deals Strategy team at Strat& might make me an attractive candidate for PE. I'll be fresh out of college; this will be my first professional full-time job.

Bain will probably give you a better shot to land in PE if that's your ultimate goal. They have the best pipeline to PE in consulting. When it comes to consulting, unless you just don't like the culture at all, bigger brand name will equal better exits.

This shouldn't really be a question: Bain by a mile. Bain Boston is considered on of the most prestigious Bain offices globally, has at least a few PEG teams running at any given time, and will not limit your PE exit opps (in terms of geography or funds that will be interested in you).
