BCG first round interview

Hi everyone, I have a first round interview with BCG this Friday. I was wondering if anyone else had one already or if you have one upcoming?

If you already had one, how did it go? Any advice on how to nail the fit portion? Since there’s no case in round 1 besides the online one with the chatbot, is this a weed out interview purely scoring your fit/personality?

If you have one upcoming, how are you preparing other than practice cases? How was the online case?

Any relevant replies would be greatly appreciated!

Hi IB_Fiend, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)

More suggestions...

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

I would recommend going through each type of case at least once for practice. Make sure your basic behavioral/fit questions are nailed down and you at least have 5 to 7 stories to pull from. Lastly, make sure you have very insightful questions to ask that you do not think any other candidate will be asking. Nothing was out of the blue.

I think it went alright for me. I’m not sure if I will get a final round but hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Anyone know how long it takes to hear back for the decision? Final rounds is supposed to be the Friday afterwards, so I’m assuming its either the same day or the Monday after?
