No...not common
Have not heard of this. But then again, depends on service line. B4 is a big place with many department. I think Deloitte S&O may not pay bonus for fresh hire but that's because they back pay your tuition for 80k...EY for some reason have tiny bonus.
I've never heard of this. Which Big4? Which specific practice (e.g. is it for a 'service center')?
If you're talking about audit / tax, then I think that's very standard. Probably standard in some advisory groups.
If you're talking about legit MC groups (i.e. S&O, etc.), it seems low.
It really depends on which BIG4, the market you are in as well as your service line. In general, remuneration is as follow: - Audit/Tax: Pretty much standard, bonus are uncommon before manager levels but you normally benefit from good health plan and pension - Advisory (TS, CF): Same as audit; but usually you get an annual bonus tied to your perf, not comparable to what you would get in IB though.
To the best of my knowledge no signing bonus in BIG4 before manager levels

Just in general, tax, TS,risk advisory, audit are not considered as consulting.
So management consulted website aboveay not be applicable if you are not in consulting practice department
