Boutique Consulting or Google (People Operations)

Hi,

I need to make a decision between taking an entry-level associate role in People Operations at Google (basically HR) and an offer at a boutique consulting firm that specializes in financial services.

I am leaning towards Google right now, specifically at the prospect of being able to transfer internally to another department a few years down the line. I don't really foresee myself staying within financial services in the future, and that is a reason for why I wouldn't want to side with consulting.

Still, it is an HR role vs. consulting, so what are some of your insights/perspectives on this issue?

I would appreciate any and all help. Cheers.
