Brand Valuation - Surgical Devices

Hey there,

I'm working on this project which tries to evaluate the brand value of a particular surgical (Medical Device Firm) Fortune 500 multi billion dollar firm. We will be depending only on Primary Research across the world with a decent number of stakeholders.

Are there any existing methodologies/ analysis techniques that I can use for my project? I'm looking for any white papers and other online resources that will give me an idea/ help me with designing my research questions and formulating my project plan.

We are primarily looking to evaluate the product's perception among the key stakeholders involved.

Would love to hear your opinions/ ideas/ inputs guys! And girls too. Any funky, ubercool technology tools, web resources etc. will be really helpful.

Thanks in advance GrungePirate

I have done a lot of brand valuations for companies who transfer their brands across borders.

Have a look into the relief from royalty method or an excess earnings profit split method.

It really depends on the company and what information you have available as to which method can be best to use.
